All Coast Tyres laying down rubber in Nambour

Yandina’s All Coast Tyre Solutions is about to commence the next chapter in its evolution with the opening of a new store in Nambour. Goodyear Autocare Nambour at 22 Coronation Avenue has been freshly painted and fitted out, and has reopened as All Coast Goodyear Nambour .

“We are extremely excited to be opening in Nambour,” said business co-owner, John O’Leary. “It seems fitting that we are moving into a building that has always been a tyre shop.  It is a timely launch, because this year marks our 25th anniversary in business on the Sunshine Coast.”

“We have been in the Nambour community for a number of years, supporting schools and clubs like Nambour Crushers Rugby League, Nambour Little Athletics and Nambour Yandina United Football Club to mention a few. We know how important community support is, and giving back to organisations is something we have always done,” said Peter O’Leary, Co-owner.

Daniel Brook is a Nambour local who has worked for All Coast Tyre Solutions for 15 years, Daniel has progressed his way through the business to take on the Manager’s role at the new Nambour store.

All Coast Tyre Solutions owners, brothers, John and Peter O’Leary, purchased their first tyre store in Yandina in May 1996. John had worked in the tyre industry since 1974 and Peter started in the industry in 1986. “When we bought the Yandina business it was a Millard’s Tyre Centre, and we changed to Beaurepairs for Tyres in August 1996,” John said.

In 2011 John and Peter rebranded to a Dunlop Super Dealer and finally branded themselves All Coast Tyre Solutions.

“This business has presented us with the most wonderful learning and growth opportunities,” John said. “And we are only getting started. In our industry, there is just so much to learn”.

In their ongoing expansion, the brothers purchased the Dunlop Super dealer in Maroochydore in 2016. The growth of that store included a move to Goodyear Autocare on Wises Road in Maroochydore.

Their efforts were formally recognised in 2019 when the business won the title of Dunlop Super Dealer Queensland, and went on to win the 2019 National Dunlop Super Dealer of the year. “These awards were a recognition of the processes, checks and balances and dedication to relationship building and customer service that are absolutely foundational in our business,” John said.

The dedication to service is reflected in the fact that 62% of new customers each month are referrals.

“Education and consistency are key,” John explained. “We have well defined processes and procedures that ensure a consistent experience for our customers. Getting the little things right and being open with our customers from the get go is reassuring for them. This is one of the main reasons we enjoy so much repeat business.”

The team at All Coast Tyre Solutions takes their time to ensure the job is done correctly. “We are not a race team,” said John. “We have a long term, stable team and all of our staff are fully qualified and trained to do a safe job, not a quick one.

“Our point of different at All Coast is the safety and care of our customers and their vehicles, getting the little thing right. “Ultimately, our business is all about safety,” John said. “From choosing the correct tyre for your vehicle, driving style and habits, to fitting it properly, every one of our procedures has been developed to ensure that your precious cargo is as safe as possible when the rubber hits the road”.

“We are excited the rebranding of our new store in Nambour is completed, from the old blue and orange to a vibrant yellow and blue, right across the road from the Nambour RSL,” Peter said.

2021 has proven to be a huge year for the family business as they are also opening a Dunlop Super Dealer facility in Gympie.
